The California Energy Commission (CEC) will host a public workshop to present and discuss proposed changes related to nonresidential single-family envelopes, insulation, and buried ducts and multifamily indoor air quality, envelopes, and restructuring requirements for the 2025 update to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards (Energy Code). These proposed updates aim to encourage the use of cost-effective and technically feasible energy-efficient building practices in the state.
