Energy Commission Webinar: Proposed 2022 Energy Code Solar Photovoltaic and Electrification

California Energy Commission (CEC) staff will conduct a series of workshops to present and discuss proposed changes to the 2022 California Energy Code (Energy Code). The goal of these workshops is to solicit feedback from concerned or affected members of the public before the start of the formal rulemaking process.

Proposed 2022 Energy Code Solar Photovoltaic and Electrification

October 6, 2020

This webinar will include staff presentations on proposed updates to Part 6 of the 2022 Energy Code and Part 11 of the California Green Building Code to encourage greater use of electric heat pump technologies for low-rise residential buildings, high-rise residential buildings and selected nonresidential building categories. Topics discussed may be relevant to the code changes proposed in the Multifamily All Electric Package CASE Report.
