2025 Energy Code

The Statewide CASE Team is collecting measure ideas for inclusion in nonresidential, multifamily, and single family CASE Reports in the 2025 code cycle. These 2025 standards will continue to improve upon the 2022 standards for new construction of—and additions and alterations to—residential and nonresidential buildings.

We encourage stakeholders to submit ideas and email us feedback throughout the process. You can also participate in the 2025 Title 24, Part 6 Standards update by attending future Energy Commission workshops and submitting written comments to the rulemaking docket.

The Statewide Codes and Standards Enhancement (CASE) Team periodically distributes email notifications that promote upcoming meetings, provide materials from past meetings, and update stakeholders on the progression of the California Energy Commission (CEC)’s rulemaking process.
