Provide a Code Change Idea

Have ideas on how the California Energy Code could be updated? We want to hear from you!

The Statewide CASE Team encourages feedback from all stakeholders for the 2028 Title 24, Part 6 code change process. Be a part of this opportunity to help California meet its statewide energy goals!

If you have a code change proposal/measure idea, complete this short form to provide us with information that we need to understand your proposal. In the form, provide your reasoning and any data you might have to help us weigh the many criteria that are used to evaluate a proposal. Criteria includes, but is not limited to, energy savings, greenhouse gas emission reductions, cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, compliance improvement and enforceability, market readiness, and alignment with other state policy goals and California Energy Commission (CEC) priorities. Please note, we can’t fund all proposals. For example, budget and time are considerations, and we cannot fund proposals that give a market advantage to one product or brand.

You can start your submission and save it at any time to continue filling it out later.
