Single Family Grid Integration
This CASE Report will evaluate the ability of load shifting technologies to reduce grid impacts. Single family targeted applications include: batteries, HVAC load shifting, heat pump water heater load shifting controls, and home automation technologies that have the potential to coordinate the operation of multiple load-shifting measures. -
Nonresidential Grid Integration
The focus of the nonresidential grid harmonization CASE Report is to adjust the demand response control requirements so buildings that comply with Title 24, Part 6 are more likely to use their controls to participate in demand response events, including pricing events. -
Multifamily All Electric Package
This CASE Report will develop a prescriptive pathway and compliance option for all-electric multifamily buildings that use electric appliances for all regulated and non-regulated end uses. This topic builds on the 2019 prescriptive requirements for low-rise residential buildings that allow heat pump water heating (individual water heaters) and space heating.
